INTERNSHIPS AND SCHOLARSHIPS
Under Italian "Regulations on job training and guidance" (DM 142/98 and later alterations), FSP offers internships for recent graduates , university students , students at state and private schools that confer degrees with legal value and students of Vocational Training Centres.
FSP intends to entrust, as to its mission, with study projects and research, students and recent graduates so that they can explore themes and activities addressed during their studies and apply their skills and methods to specific initiatives that the Foundation undertakes. Internships are offered under two formulas: curricular internship open to students enrolled in a study course, aiming to "create moments of alternation between study and work during educational processes and to facilitate career choices through direct working experience"; extracurricular training, for recent graduates (within 12 months after graduation), with the aim of transforming knowledge acquired into professional skills and cross capabilities, useful for work placement.
The internship therefore contains a period of work orientation and of situation training, but is not an employment.
During the course, activity is monitored and checked by a course tutor (designated by the school) responsible for teaching and organization and a company tutor (indicated by FSP), who oversees the student’s activities and certifies performance.
FSP has set up Conventions with Universities, High schools and Training schools to host courses and can agree training courses with students.
FSP also offers annual awards for theses and dissertations.
